Dr. Deirdre Lillis is Head of the School of Computing in Dublin Institute of Technology. She has 15 years senior management experience in higher education including roles as a academic Head, lecturer, supervisor, IT/MIS manager and researcher. Prior to starting in DIT in November 2008, she was Head of Institutional Review with HETAC which is ensuring the quality of the learning experience in the thirteen Institutes of Technology. She has worked with UK, European and US colleges, and with nearly every third level Institution in Ireland on various teaching and research projects.
Her research interests include leadership, strategic planning, quality assurance, staff development, organisational learning in a higher education environment. |
