Dr. Brian Mac Namee is a lecturer at the School of Computing at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Briefly, Brian's research focuses primarily on machine learning and artificial intelligence, but also on novel application areas to which AI and ML techniques can be applied. Examples include robotics, machine vision and image processing, games and augmented/virtual reality. Brian is a founder member of the DIT AI Group.

Brian's teaching duties at DIT include, or have included, courses in Graphics & Image Processing; Problem Solving Communication & Innovation; Mobile Robotics and Business Systems Intelligence.
