DIT School of Computing | Technical Services

The School of Computing Technical Services provide a range of services to Undergraduate students, Postgraduate students and School of Computing staff.

Administering a multiple Windows/Linux/Unix environment for Staff and Students. 20+ servers providing Windows based services such as Active Directory Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, File Servers, Backup NAS, VPN, Anti-Virus, FTP & IIS Web Servers and SQL Servers.

Also administer Staff email service, SunRay Solaris Services and SUSE Linux Student teaching servers.

These services are currently administered by SOC Technical Services and are located in the Annex Building of Kevin Street DIT, Room A112.
