My Name is Mark Deegan,

I am a lecturer at the School of Computing in DIT, Kevin Street.

I have a number of teaching duties which include
DT211 Year 2 Networking 1 (TECH2501) and DT211 Year 2 Networking 2 (TECH2502)

In addition to my teaching duties, I have responsibility for the
Internship Program in DT211 and the
Work Placement Program in DT228.
I am also involved in managing the Cisco Network Academy Program (CNAP) at DIT.

I am also responsible for supervising a number of DT228 final Year Projects.
In addition to the above, I have interest or responsibility in relation to a number of Other Projects

In recent weeks I have organised a number of presentations by IBM Ireland to students of the School of Computing at DIT. Most recently, Mark Wallace gave a presentation on the Open Source Software Competition for Students at IBM.
