Description
Modern business organisations use
Information Systems to secure competitive advantage. This module
explores the domain of Information Systems and examines how they
support organisations to provide their products and services to a
global marketplace.
Aims
The aim of this module is to
introduce students to the role and strategic importance of Information
Systems in a modern organisation.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this
module, the student will be able to:

The methods of assessment to be used
to measure the learning objectives stated above are written
examination and continuous assessment including one or more of
assignment, essay, problem-solving exercise, oral presentation, and
