Module Descriptions

Note: All information on modules is advisory. The definitive source of information is the programme document.

Structure

The programme is divided into four stages. All modules at stages 1, 2 and 3 are core and must be taken by all students wishing to graduate with a BSc (Honours). At stage 4 students take three core modules and three option modules as well as completing an Honours Degree Project.

The tables below list all the modules and identify the semester in which they will be offered. Although it is currently our intention to offer modules in the semester shown this may change during the lifetime of the programme. Upon successful completion of each module, students are deemed to have collected a certain number of European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits. 60 ECTS must be collected at each appropriate stage in order before the student is eligible for any award. For calculation of grades for awards, modules are weighted by their ECTS credits.

A graphical display of the modules is available here.
