DT202 MSc in Computing (Asssitive Technology) > Modules

 

Overview

The programme is modular offering flexibility to students taking the programme.

Students are expected to complete nine core modules plus two option modules.

Students are also required to undertake an individual research project and complete a dissertation.

Students can progress through the programme at their own pace within the programme structure.

The programme covers a wide-range of subjects relevant to the area including:

 

Core Modules

  1. Foundations of Asssitive Technology
  2. Problem-Solving, Innovation and Communication
  3. Universal Design
  4. AT Professional Skills I
  5. Dyslexia and AT
  6. Man and Machine
  7. AT Professional Skills II
  8. Case Studies in AT
  9. Research Methods and Proposal Writing

Plus any two of the following Option Modules;

  1. Inclusive Learning Through Technology
  2. Accessible Web Design
  3. Project and Change Management
  4. Ubiquitous Computing
  5. Biomedical Devices
  6. Robotics

plus a Dissertation.
