Senior QA/Games System

Overall Purpose of Role:

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help deliver a top quality playing experience for our customers. You must have a passion for QA and be a very responsible, detail-oriented person with experience in testing interactive software. Our platforms include Microsoft, Macintosh, and Web-based environments, running against client/server architecture. You should be able to maintain grace under pressure in a fast-paced, high-caliber product development environment. We're looking for a QA engineer who knows what it takes to get software out the door. This is a SOFTWARE Functional testing position, NOT a Localisation QA position.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• You must be able to complete tasks on time while working with development engineers to understand features and to develop tests up to the last seconds of a deadline
• You will need to develop test plans and work with development engineers to ensure all test plans provide complete product coverage
• Experience with bug-tracking tools/databases is required as the successful applicant will produce detailed bug reports
• Applicants must have a well-rounded background across QA practices and have the ability to understand large, complex systems

Skills / Experience Required:

• Experience in the Gaming Industry or Strong Knowledge of Poker
• 3+ years functional testing industry experience
• Project Management or QA Lead experience is a huge plus
• C++ programming skills are an advantage
• BSc or BA preferred, (or relevant work experience)
• Experience writing and executing detailed Test Plans
• Experience working on Mac applications a huge plus
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated individual
• Ability to multi-task and test different applications necessary for a release
• Previous experience with testing of non-English language software and online gaming software is a big plus
• Any other tools of the trade are a bonus, including scripting and test development skills
