Course
Aims:
-
to
prepare the student for commericial financial systems development
and maintenance, giving each student the flexibility to adapt to
both legacy style and modern systems development environments.

to give the student
practical experience in developing and maintaining financial systems
using different methods of data storage, code development and user
interface development.
Course Objectives:
On completion of the course
the student will:

be able to develop a
modern system through COBOL
-
know the theory of information
systems with emphasis on databse design
-
have experienced the
development of a commerical system using a commerical database environment
