Hi, I am a lecturer in the school of computing at the DIT in Kevin St. I have just completed a PhD in the area of the analysis and annotation of recordings of recordings of traditional Irish dance music. I also hold a first class honours degree in computer science and software engineering from the University of Dublin (studied at the DIT) and an MSc in Computing from DIT.

You can find details about the courses I teach here. I was also on the local organising committee for CGAMES and co-edited the proceedings . Some of my other interests include gadgets of all forms, computer gaming and artificial intelligence. I am also the author of the TunePal for Windows Pocket PCs and Psion Series 5/MX/Revo. TunePal is a music player for abc files.
