Hi, I am a lecturer in the school of computing at the DIT in Kevin St. I hold a first class honours degree in computer science and software engineering from the University of Dublin (studied at the DIT) and an MSc in IT from DIT. I am presently working on a PhD in the area of musical creativity in traditional music. You can find details about the courses I teach here. I am also on the local organising committee for CGAMES. Some of my other interests include ubiquitous computing and gadgets of all forms, computer gaming and artificial intelligence. I am also the author of the TunePal for Windows Pocket PCs and Psion Series 5/MX/Revo. TunePal is a music player for abc files. |
